In my case, I noted that every 9 or 10 times I clean the sea strainer I forget to reopen the seacock... This Blockage Sensor has avoid me many aggravations so now I test it on a monthly basis: by closing the seacock then running the anchor wash until the Alarm goes off.

In addition to a light, there is a strong buzzer.
