From gasket maker paper cut the approximate size of the gasket you want to make
If you don't have paper gasket, I heard of people using even magazine or newspaper

Put on top of the part (raw water pump, etc.)

With the "round" end of a ball peen hammer knock on the hole

Then the next one

All 4 (having the holes cut first will help maintaining in place

Then on the egd

All cut

Perfect match
