Ground Strap From articles on the forum, it was unavoidable the ground strap was eventually going to break from age, so I decided to change it. Just as I removed it, it broke. I obtain the dimension from Bill onboard S/V BeBe SM2K #387 for the copper bar. It is not the best illustration, as I am not showing the removal of the electrical and manual bilge pumps hoses as well as the float switch. Then emptying, as Bill recommend, using a wet/dry vacuum all the water. The cleaning of the bilge was not fun and took many hours. The nut on the keel is 30 mm, as you will see I had to use several (5) extensions to reach the bottom. As Bill recommended I use blue tape to hold in place the nuts in the socket. I also took the chance of this job to removed the replacement electric bilge pump and rebuild (rebuilt kit MARINA-K) then put back the original AMFA Marina ZZ
