Defrosting Fridge Every now and then, the fridge (and freezer) need to be defrosted. Bill from S/V BeBe SM2K #387 suggest I use a fan, which melted the ice much faster (pushing ambient air) In order to keep the freezer door open, I used a cloth pin. I also use Sham-wow and recipient to collect the water Later on, being on shore power, I added a 220 Volt fan to melt quicker the ice.
